Sasinun Kladpetch is a San Francisco–based multimedia artist whose work reveals traces of nature embedded within the urban environment. Combining organic materials with industrial elements, she creates textured, sculptural installations that explore the tension and harmony between the natural world and city life. Her practice foregrounds the quiet beauty often overlooked in dense, constructed spaces, inviting viewers to reconsider how nature persists, adapts, and coexists within contemporary architecture and design.

Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, Kladpetch holds a Bachelor’s degree in Decorative Art from Silpakorn University and a Master’s degree from the San Francisco Art Institute. Her work has been exhibited across the United States and includes permanent installations at the LINE Hotel San Francisco, Sea Ranch Lodge, and KoDo Los Angeles. She has presented in solo and group exhibitions at venues such as Themes & Projects and galleries in Los Angeles, and earned first prize in sculpture at The Art Association of Harrisburg’s juried exhibition in 2019. In the same year, she completed an artist residency at Château d’Orquevaux in France, further extending the international scope of her career.

“My work becomes a conversation between nature and the hand that alters it.”

“Each installation unfolds as a self-portrait—an echo of how the world leaves its trace upon me. I work with earthbound materials—clay, soil, plaster, concrete, and living plants—shaping them into reflections of balance and tension. In the meeting of raw and human-made forms, I search for a quiet coherence, where beauty emerges from contrast. My work becomes a conversation between nature and the hand that alters it, inviting the viewer to linger, to notice, to remember the living pulse within material and time.”
